Efforts are on breeding genetically improved products in Field crops viz. Rice and Wheat and Vegetable crops viz. Egg plant, Tomatoes, Beans, Peas and Gourds lead to manufacture new and better cultures in most of these crop species. Rice varieties are gaining significance in the competitive environment.

Several challenges are being faced by Indian agriculture which includes Global climate change, Soil exhaustion, High cost of farm inputs and Stagnation of production of major crops. Farming has become inverse preposition now a days and food security would be one of the biggest challenges. Our efforts are being strengthened towards education of farmers in respect to soil conservation, reduction in cost of farm inputs and selection of suitable kind of crop species for specific ecologies to improve productivity.

The prime area in seed is its apparent and inherent purity. Perfect combination of human and mechanical devises helps in identification and rejection of poor seed lots.
